Sarah Yost, PGA
Teaching Professional
Sarah Yost grew up in Minnesota and began playing golf at an early age. After a successful amateur career she played Division I at the University of Arkansas – Little Rock where she completed her degree in Early Childhood/Elementary Education. After graduation she played on Central Florida mini tours and pursued her membership with the PGA of America.
Sarah spent her early days teaching at The Walt Disney World Resort, Cranwell Golf School and The Faldo Golf Institute where she had the opportunity to work with many top teaching professionals.
In 2001, she opened the Faldo Golf School of Marco Island, FL where she worked as the Senior Instructor with players ranging in skill level from the touring professional to the beginner.
She relocated to West Virginia in 2006 to raise her family, and developed Yost Golf. She also became the Head Men's and Women's Golf Coach at Fairmont State University in the Fall of 2016. Her strong background in education and junior golf has helped Sarah create one of the largest junior golf followings in the state. There are many successful leagues, clinics, camps, high school skills sessions and family golf nights to choose from. With the large variety of programming there is something for every player to find game improvement and advancement.
